Hi all, not sure if this is the correct place to list this.

Having spotted that the Xbox rapid fire scene is very well represented, we at ps3rapidfire.info decided to take a shot at the PS3 chip market.  All the work is our own and this leaves us in a very good position to offer custom work.

At the momet, the ExoFire team has 4 items on the market, two of which are standard rapid fire kits in the traditional sense. i.e Tactile to switch mode and R1 to fire.  We also believe we have two unique items.

1. Worlds simplest install, USB initiated rapid fire, no drilling required mod kit.
Only 4 points need to be soldered to on the PS3 PCB - this applies to all versions of official Sony controllers. Unlike other mods, there is no need to remove the PCB since you no longer have to solder to the Player 4 LED - the mode indicator is now housed in the external USB connector. There are no very small VIA's to solder to, only large TP's are used. There is absolutely no drilling of the controller casing required - the mode selector and indicator is housed in the externally attached USB connector - when the USB connector is removed there is nothing to indicate that the controller has been modified.

2. Dual wield Akimbo Mod kit, firing via the R1/R2 or L1/L2 triggers.
This 8 MODE KIT is designed primarily for players of the Call of Duty series of games, however it has modes that will work with most first person shooters.
This is the WORLDS FIRST PS3 Dual Wield 'AKIMBO' Rapid Fire Kit - designed and built on Exofire technology, designed to give YOU the advantage.

All our kits fire via the original triggers and not additional added switches.  We are in a position to offer custom layout/features if requested.  We can rapid fire on any button you wish to make rapid fire, making our kits truly flexible to fit your games and controller layouts.

All items are available via ebay, so giving you confidence to buy... Ebay listings.  Our website is ps3rapidfire

Please feel free to PM us or mail us with any questions.

Just an update here...

We have now released another first... We assume smile.gif  Please le us know if this has been done before.

Pre wired, USB initiated, no drilling, Akimbo rapid fire kit.  This kit only need 4 solders to get it working ( pwr, gnd, usb, com line) smile.gif  We believe this is truly the easiest install for a PS3 rapid fire kit.  This is completely "stealth" smile.gif

Quick question. Looked over your install and I see you only solder to the R common and do not solder to the R1 or R2 at all. The R common if I'm not mistaken initiates all buttons on the "Right" side of the controller. What is to make just R1 or R2 rapid fire and not the other buttons on the right  side do rapid fire?

Yes, you are correct, we solder to RCOM.  This will indeed make all but that are on the right of the controller rapid... As to how we achieve rapid fire on only the buttons we wish, as a seller, I am sure you appreciate that we do not wish to reveal this for obvious reasons.  I am sure that there are people on here that know how this is achieved and deal with open source HEX files.  Perhaps in one of the other sections, you may get an answer to this.

Suffice to say, It does work as you can see from the Ebay feedback... 100% satisfied smile.gif  Thanks for taking a look.
