Fix your RROD or YLOD console from as little as $60 depending on the severity of the fault for reflow of one or more of the BGA's. Exact cost of repair will be advised after the console is diagnosed and no work will be carried out until the customer (you) gives the go ahead and is happy with the price. If your console is really badly damaged then I can also offer a reball service for $160-$210. Reball's are an extremely labour intensive process and success is not guaranteed hence why the service is so dear. My rate of successful repair is close to 97% for units that have not been opened and worked on before. Even if your console has been opened or worked on before I can still attempt repair for you. The repair is done on my professional Infrared rework machine with thermocouple monitoring to ensure that the reworked BGA's don't get killed in the process. Beware of sending your console to the low cost backyard kiddie repair people who blast away at your BGA chips blindly with a heat gun and hope that it will work. As they say; you get what you pay for so if you expect to pay under $50 for a repair then you would naturally expect a sub standard repair attempt at your console. I personally would not trust my beloved console to one of these amateur backyard repair people.

Diagnosis and quote will be free if you go ahead with the repair but if you decide to take the console elsewhere or don't go ahead with the repair then a $20 diagnosis fee will be applicable. The diagnosis fee is waived if you go ahead with the repair or included within the total repair charge.

If repair fails I may offer to buy the faulty console off you for parts or you can consider trading or upgrading it for a working console.

 I'm conveniently located a couple of minutes away from the Lidcombe railway station so very easy to get to with public transport or if you drive.
