1) Fix resolution issues for skins, so we can do some HD 16 by 9 skins!

2) Allow user to resize and center screen like you can in XBMC.

3) Change to dynamic software updates for 3rd party apps, like you do for Avalaunch its self.

How about some X3 LCD support? C'mon, it supports the Smartxx chips LCD function.

Like it would be nice if it would say what application or game we were running, if one were launched. It could also show system temps and I.P. address.. clock, etc.

For now, the only way to have these features (and only some) you have to either use xbmc or dvd2xbox as a dash.. and i dont like using either of them as dashboards.

I love using Avalaunch, but it would be much nicer with better LCD support features.

That's my 2 cents.

I'm not trying to be a party pooper here, but wth!?

- Avalaunch already have an FTP Client
- Avalaunch already makes it possible for you to do more than one task (e.g. IRC, FTP, Telnet, listening to music)
- Avalaunch's FTP server is much, much better now (just yet not released yet)

Uhm it is technically possible. It would require alot more work then just the dashboard biggrin.gif it would require more ressources aswell i'd say smile.gif
But yes basically it is possible. Or can you explain me why it isn't possible? tongue.gif

Possible or if it exists is a difference, but if you make a bios and a dashboard that can make use of it, it surely possible, and i dont see anything that would not let you do so, other then not being able to/not wanting to.

No, it's not possible. The Xbox is built to run a single application at a time. It loads and allocates resources exclusively for that application, and also all XBEs are loaded into the same memory region.

So what does make it allocate the resources exclusively?
Isn't that the BIOS/Kernel?
That's what i thought out of my findings, so you would require to modify the bios, and enhance it, alot of work for that matter, but then it would be possible, no?

well, you could use xbox linux, emulate a windows environment, get cxbx(xbox emulator in the works), load multiple instances of it(not even sure it allows for it), then load multiple xbe's.  That is probably the only solution short of totally reverse engineering xbox.
