so for you guys that are afraid to fix your own xbox 360's
1-2-3 red lights
freezing
e74
messed up graphics
sound with no video
i'm offering to reflow the gpu-cpu-ram chips for you professionally.
I've been an electronics technician since 1987.
i us an Infa-Red reflow station which is much safer than the heatgun method
what know one tells you about the heat gun method is that it introduces static
electricity into air from the heated flowing air. this can damage your 360.
the Infa-Red station uses 2 different types of heat.
1st it has a heating plate to evenly heat entire surface of the motherboard
to help with even reflowing of the components.
2nd it uses an IR lamp (no flowing air) to reflow the solder connection under the bga chips fast.
people say using the heatgun method is the same as reflowing (it can be if you know what you
are doing and have the right equipment, but you still have the static electricity factor, and the
only way to avoid static damage is to use static dissipative equipment to protect your 360 during repair)
did you know on the bottom side the gpu are over 1000 solder connections.
PLEASE DON'T DO THE TOWEL METHOD, IT'S REALLY HARD ON YOUR 360..I only charge $30 bucks if i fix your system.
this is how we do it...
2 options:
you can send it to me and if i fix it we can do a paypal transfer for the repair $30 + return shipping
or you ship it to me with a U.S. postal money order for $30 + return shipping (return shipping would
be the same amount you paid to ship it to me including: insurance - delivery comformation - sign conformation) if you don't include the extra's like insurance, it will be sent back without insurance.
if you have any questions shoot me an email at:
[email protected]use my email for questions, i don't always remember to check the different forums for pm's
and i will sure help you try to get your xbox working again.
AGAIN I'M TRYING TO HELP THE PEOPLE THAT ARE AFRAID TO DO THIS THEMSELVES
SO PLEASE DO KNOCK MY SERVICE
