Only downfalls I see is the chipset of the sata controllers might give issues.  best just to try them though.  You need a Nforce chipset or VIA for samsung and BenQ and Hitachis are iffy with what you have.  

you have this:
Silicon Image's SiI5723CNU chip as a Serial ATA to eSATA adapter.
Marvell's 88SE6111 chip

not sure on those.

you would get a lot more help though in the Newbie section on here.
