i fried my 1.1 motherbaord im im going to buy a replacement board and i was wondering if i could replace it with a 1.0 motherboard

1.1 don't have one
and 1.0 do

You don't need to buy a daughter board unless you really want to. I had the same problem and what I did was use the broken/useless 1.1 board for the parts I needed. You could also go to an electronics store and buy the pins you need which go into the HD cables.

All you have to do is pull off the plastic cover from the HD Cable on the broken board. If you notice there are the 80 or so pins which are used to connect the hard drive cable to the board.

Once the cables connections plastic piece is removed you can cut off 22 pins. Make sure all the pins are the same size and plug them into the 1.0 board. MAKE SURE THE POWER IS OFF when you do this. After all the pins are inserted just plug your 1.1 daughter cables into the newly configured and pinned 1.0 board.
