I hope its not a scam either and I am not praising his efforts.  I personally think this guy has a lot on his plate and he is not a very good business man.  The idea of scamming people for a couple hundred dollars is a joke, so what is really going on?  That's the question of the hour.  I say cheers to him because he is going to be dealing with a sh!t show of legal issues from pissed off people on this site...he will need a drink.  Hopefully he gets on here and gives an update of somesort.

I'm 99% sure he's been reading all of our comments on the site over the last week since he disappeared, not logging into his account, but still reading the forums..

I mean, if I were him.. I'd be reading what people are saying to get an idea of what to expect. Wouldn't you guys?

There is no doubt in my mind that he is reading this forum.  I don't like the idea of getting the police involved and I don't plan on taking legal action, but I am sure others will.  I figure that I can get a majority of my money back through UPS and Google Checkout...its not worth trying to get someone else in trouble.  The only thing I can't recoup is the time I am wasting dealing with this issue.  With the economy the way it is I am sure this type of thing will happen more and more...buyer beware.

Google checkout may get what you paid him but UPS isn't going to do much if the package arrived at haze's safely. After that it is out of their hands.  So if a scam has gone down we are most likely out a 360/wii.  That is unless you were buying a system from him and he never sent it, then you could recover your loses.

I didn't require a signature with my package, so anyone could have gotten my console.  Do you think this will fly or is it wishful thinking?

Prediction:

Haze or someone who says they are Haze's friend/wife gets on his account and posts a message saying that "you're all outa luck, blah blah, something bad happened" Most likely "Cops confiscated everything. and He's in jail." "Haze is in the hospital" "Haze is at a family emergency/funeral" "Haze is dead" or something just as stupid. I expect either a complete bs story to come eventually from Haze's account.

I can see this happening within a couple of weeks at LEAST.

I know he probably feels bad about screwing us all over, but then he looks at the money he made and smiles and probably thinks it's all worth it.

Too bad he doesn't read the news.. People now days in america get pissed and go to far lengths to get "revenge" Just like we hear about the sex predators that drive 1500 miles or whatever to go meet some underage kid and get busted..

If I were Haze I'd be pretty damn worried. We might all not be able to solder, but that doesn't mean we are idiots.

John and Crystal Canady might be known as scammers, but I'm still hoping they decide it's in their best interests to just finish the orders and be done with it.

You know your absolutly right about the revenge thing. You know I could honestly care less about the money and the wii, but one thing I cannot stand is to be lied to. Its a major problem I have. Plus how could people liek these sleep good at night knowing they are scamming kids. So now seeking legal actions is just for the principle of it all. I hope crystal and john are reading these forums. because reciepts don't lie. you can hide the consoles you can sell them on ebay but you always leave traces of transactions. When you deal with money on the internet people don't understand that it becomes federal. The fbi can get involved because the transactions cross state lines. So crystal and john could only hope this stays within the sheriffs office. Because google and ups won't care about him and his tricks if they have to start paying out.

roque2 was right the whole time.  I finally gave in and called the sheriffs dept., just like roque2 said, they verified that these people are known scammers (and this was just a patrol officer and he knows about them).  I didn't get to talk to Captain Robert Shorter because he already left for the day, but the guy i did talk to said he was just a patrol officer, and that he had already overheard all about the situation from him.  I have to try back tommorow to get ahold of Captain Robert Shorter, and he advised me to let every1 know that they should file a report to help further their investigation.  Sorry guys, i didn't want the bad news either, but if you want the real story on whats going on, quite hoping for your consoles to arrive and call the sheriffs dept.  Your helping yourself out and others, and we can now finally put an end to the wondering if he's a scammer.  He's been identified as a scammer by the local police dept. and i will take their word over his, or anyone elses

What time is good to call the local PD in Saluda? I have a relatively high profile attorney in the oklahoma area who would love to throw a class action lawsuit at someone.

He does anyone know how to get his ip. Notice that he only uses his website to forward the emails. If we could get his ip we could try and track down on ebay some of the peoples consoles that have not been sold yet. I would love to help anyone get their consoles back if I can. I mean I know mine is probably long gone but if we all work together we can atleast recover something.

when i asked for Captain Robert Shorter they told me he had just left, and that he works 8am-4-30pm, i will contact him tommorow and so should every1 else
