All this talk about fraud makes me really worried especially since he hasn't responded in almost a week. Haze said I would have my wii before this weekend and I still haven't received it yet. But I'll still hold on to some hope that he'll return my wii soon.

If not then my console is definitely a sunk cost. I shipped it via fedex with direct signature. But if what you said about Googlecheckout has fraud protection is true then at least I can get that money back. Hopefully we'll have this mess sorted out when/if Haze ever responds.

We should probably make a list of what people sent out and when and if they received it back yet. But, I'm sure all the people who get their items back never return to these boards. But once again I'm hoping for the best.

BTW he was just on xbox live yesterday, last time i checked

Man I will wait to weeks if it gets me back my sons console. But like I have said people if you don't believe me contact the Saluda sheriffs department and ask for a Captain Robert Shorter. This officer knew who I was talkign about before I mentioned his name. Haze and his wife are known scammers. Please call the sheriffs office to file your complaints. They are a very helpful bunch of detectives and will take your complaint over the phone. Hazes wife is mastermind behind most of these scams and haze just follows through with them. They have scammed numorous people on ebay. Your consoles are most likly gone so lets get this guy and put him and his wife in jail.

Well, I called UPS. They are going to try calling him, and possibly send a guy out to see if he received my wii.. They said they will call me back when they've made a decision. Then hopefully I can collect the insurance I put on it.

John Canady/Haze never told me for sure that he ever even received it himself. Maybe someone stole it off his porch after it was delivered. (doubt it)

EDIT

People who have their serial numbers for their consoles should report them stolen as long as they registered them. If anyone goes online with our serial numbers, they can be traced.

OK GUYS I GOT SEMI GOOD NEWS!

I called the usps and i gave them my tracking number through a customer support not automated. and they werent able to tell me the exzact address but were able to tell me that the package was going to be delivered to Melissa Tx 75454  All of that info for me would be correct so im thinking that the package will make it. I will def. post again. to let you know by the end of the week

Just ask that your worried if a package is being sent to you tell them you know the privacy policy and you cant give out a address but you know you can give out the zip code information. tell them ur package number and see if the info matchs you.

So this guy knows how to mod and then uses this ability to run a scam?  I find all of that a little hard to believe.  I mean, come on, what would a scam like this net?  5 Grand or so?  Maybe I am naive, but I don't think this guy is a scammer, lousy businessman maybe...

My thoughts exactly, that's why I'm still hoping for the best, but then again I still sorta believe in human decency, so who knows. Of course you just joined right now so...

When did Haze tell you that he would be shipping your Wii out?  I have been trying to get in touch with him for over a week now with no luck.  

I am going to wait until Wednesday before I start making calls to get my money back.  I called the number listed for CrazyGamerWorld.com and left a voicemail for John to call me back.  If I was scammed...good for him, but I just want to know.  This stuff is replaceable, but wasting my time on it is not.  You would hope that people are honest and wouldn't try to screw others over, but this is the world we live in.  His horse training business must be having some tough times.

He told me on Thurs via PM that he would ship it before the weekend. But he never came back on the boards. Try via pm when he is on.

He also said my 360 "should" ship on Thursday or Friday.  USPS got it there is less than 48 hours so it should have been here by now.  I wasn't provided any tracking number.  I feel bad for you guys that are out a wii, at least mine was only a 360.  But I also shipped him a 360 dvd drive to be repaired so I may have lost that too.  I assume that without the key from that drive, this 360 is as good as parts, right?

Good luck with your 360!  I believe you are correct regarding the key.

Being out a Wii isn't all that bad...they are cheap and becoming easier to find (I actually already bought another one).  Its just the pain of dealing with this that kills me.  If I was taken by a scammer...cheers to him, but I would just like to know so I can move on.  Its the unknown that pisses me off more than anything.  Keep us posted!

Update No Package Delivered today. Ill update tmw. But i have faith just because of what the post office told me
