Having his ip will allow us to track him on ebay. And I have a feeling he is watching these forums. Plus I think I have the support of the admins here and they are willing to verify if the ip addy we have is his correct one. They are not willing to give the ip but they will say yes or no to the one we have. Good job on getting his ip addy by the way. I have tons of time on my hands since I work nightshift to check ebay.  Sounds like metasploit time. Lol j/k will let the law do its thing.

It's because his provider is satellite.

dpc67143149122.direcpc.com (67.143.149.122) is located in Chantilly, Virginia, United States.

My IP address shows that im in Dallas, TX.. But Im in the oklahoma city area.

Well...this all really sucks.  To think I went through a couple threads trying to find one with good feedback only to be burned.

As far as contacting the police, what is everyone telling them?  I don't want to get in trouble for saying I sent in my console to be modified ILLEGALLY.  So are you guys saying you sent it for repairs or are we in the clear for saying we were getting it modded?

Worse case is we lose our stuff with no possibilty of it being returned. But still haze gets stopped from doing this again. I mean I have come to the reality that my system is gone, but I am not gonna allow him to keep doing this to others. Some one has to stand up to people like this and tell them its wrong and will not be tolerated.

btw if any1 here actually ordered directly from his website http://crazygamerworld.com like i did, i would suggest that you log into your account, and take a screenshot of your purchase, just incase he tries to take the site down.  Also the reason i ordered through his site was because he told me he was trying to migrate people over to his website, wonder what he was up to

i ran a whois on his website domain.... checkout the false info he filled in, john smith....the most common name ever, and supposedly main st in marshall texas is the address, also nice telephone number.  But i would imagine that the e-mail address would be the one he uses most, since he would have to use it to recieve info from his domain host....anyways heres the results

Good suggestion.  He told me to order from his website too...he was trying to 'get organized'.  Is the general consensus that everyone is going to call this police officer to discuss their issue?  I personally do not want to get police involved, but I will if it helps everyone out.  Just let me know and I will be on the phone in a matter of minutes.  

Sorry this happened to everyone...hopefully everything works out for all and we will be happy gamers once again.

Alrighty, I called the Robert Shorter guy who wasn't in. So the secretary took my information and said he would call me back. She sounded like she already knew what was going on with this. I told her I needed to report a fraud.

She asked for my name, number and then asked what I sent him. I told her a video game console. She asked if I also sent him money, I told her yes. She said that I would receive a call back soon.

Oh, she also asked me who I was calling about, I said "John Canady and Crystal Canady"

He might have left due to my wife calling him. This morning she must have woke up on the wrong side of the bed, because she was like give me phone num,bers to these people. So she might have gotten him to goto John's house. I hope we hear something soon.
