On to business though,

I have an old phat Lite-On console that has RROD'd on me. I've had you flash it in the past already, but I'd like it updated now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

My question is: How much would it be to have the RROD fixed, update the console to the latest stock firmware, and then flash it with the latest LT+ firmware?

Well, "The dinosaur" finally decided to join the rest of the planet

I have a release day original XBox360 with the old Xtreme firmware on it. Never updated since I don't play online, but with the new XGD3 I had to step up, so I sent my unit in to Ranger and all I can say is Wow!!

Very reasonable... very fast!!!
My unit spent way more time in UPS's hands than with Ranger. He got it on Monday afternoon and by Tuesday morning it was already on its way back.

Not only did he do great service, but he's also been very patient with my barage of questions. Always prompt responses, clear responses, and helpful attitude. Thank you so much for making this experience so pleasant.

Don't be surprised if I use you again in 5 years when I am ready to update again

Anything that will give at least 2 inches of padding around all sides of the console.

It does not have to be an official USPS box. Any box will do.

Good rule of thumb is after you get the console packed stand up and hold the package out in front of you. Pretend you are going to drop it onto a hard floor "!!DONT ACTUALLY DROP IT!!!" Ask yourself if you would feel comfortable dropping it. If you feel it would break if you dropped it then it is not packed good enough.

Sad fact is nobody at the USPS or any other carrier cares a damn about what you got in the box and will toss it around as if it is a football if they can.
