Anyone Repair Gamecubes In The Dfw?
« on: August 15, 2006, 10:38:00 PM »

I have a gamecube that needs repairing. I bought it a while back and it worked when i tested it. It sat around unused for a while since i didnt have any games for it, but i recently got into playing mario party on surreal and want to get mp7 for the GC. I plugged it back in and for some reason it worked. I was using a universal AV cable for it and thought that might be the problem so i ran to walmart and bought another aftermarket av cable. it worked last night. I plugged it back in today and now it doesnt work again.

I plug it in and hit the power button. The power LED comes on, but the screen stays black. Something happens, because the screen DOES flicker right when i hit the power button. But it doesnt go to the nintendo menu. I dont know what the problem is, but i want it fixed!

I don't have a gamebit, so I can't take it apart. I also don't feel like making my own right now. If it's a fix that someone can walk me through that doesn't involve taking it apart(ie: cleaning something, etc), I'll paypal you 10 bucks. I'd rather have someone fix it for me though. Just let me know how much and I'll see what I can do. Thanks!
