XS NOTICE: At this point, I want this to serve as notice that NO ONE should be doing any further business with "jason" / teamxbox until he has settled his outstanding issues with XS members posting in this thread. If he doesn't make good on these issues soon, actions may be taken like cooperating with the authorities.

While XS has no part and no responsibility when it comes to these transactions that start from communications on this or other forums, that doesn't mean we'll sit idly by and continue to let people get ripped off.

At this point, if Jason want to continue to do biz on this site, he's going to need to get his act together, and make this situation good for all involved.



His account isn't banned yet, so that he can communicate with you people. (and vice versa)

I haven't set a timeline on this, but now that I'm involved, I want a solution in days, not weeks.

for the record, XS has cooperated in the past with law enforcement in both Canada, and the States successfully. If needed, we'll do so again. Fraud, especially at this time of year isn't tolerated.

At one time or another these stores have had the best deal on a reg xbox harddrive. You should shop around and find the one thats best fits your budget. Same thing goes for Xbox360 hard drives except they use smaller and faster Serial AtA Notebook / Laptop Hard Drives.

(Read before buying a xbox harddrive)(Find out what OEM means?)
A. The xbox only works with EIDE/IDE harddrives do not get Serial ATA. You can use Serial ATA hdd's with an "IDE to Serial AtA" converter but its not worth the added cost most of the time. The xbox is limited so a faster harddrive does not mean it will improve performance. At this time the largest harddrive I've installed into a reg xbox was a 750gig.
B. You will want your new harddrive to lock so that you can access the MS Dash and use Xbox-live. Not all harddrives are lockable so you can check yourself at this website. Xbox Harddrive Compatibility chart

I recieved my xbox repaired about 2 months ago.  It works great!!  I just had a son in June 29th, so I have been busy.

Jason did an excellent job on the repair.  He stayed in contact and kept me updated on his findings, as well as several repair options (my mobo was fried).  He provided me with the price for all the options and waited for me to respond before performing the repair. The experience was great.

The best part was their is no charge if he could not repair it.
