Weird Problem
« on: June 11, 2006, 11:05:00 PM »

OK here we go...
I am using FlashFXP to Format my 120 Gig Lockable Drive
I made a evox Boot Disc, It boots up fine
I connect to it through my router
I transfer the files of and it says it transferred all of the file successfully
but when i check it set over a random amount of the file
Say if the file is, 5 Mb it will send over 3.9 the first time 2.4 the second then 4.7 the third
i can get it to send over some completely, but not All the files
any ideas??? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/uhh.gif)

What kind of modchip do you have? If its an X3 or Xenium then you can use X3 Config Live or Xenium OS to ftp and eliminate the need for evox.iso.  If not then go get the latest version of Slayer's Evox Auto-Installer.  Then you can prep the drive, install M$ dash, Evox, XBMC, etc.  Then you can worry about putting all your gamesaves, music, back-up games, etc.

i have a X3 chip
but the evo.iso works fine its just that when i ftp it doen't send over all the file such as "XBox Book.xtf" it will send over part of it but not all of it so it won't work. the evoXdash.xbe installs fine(one of the few files that does) so i can start evox without a boot disc but i cant send over some files i need

Try sending it all then find out what file failed to copy.  Once found you can 1)resend them one by one, 2)resend the whole folder, or 3)burn them to a cdrw then move them using a prog such as xmbc or boxplorer (granted one of those copied completely).  If your dash doesnt copy and you need to run xbmc or boxplorer then try launching them via ftp raw commands (find a tut cuz i dont remember how do runraw commands, prolly just read the help file in flashfxp).

If these don't work then i dont know what to tell ya (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
