Hello fellow XSers,

I live in Irvine, but am willing to drive anywhere in OC (or maybe LA/InlandEmpire) area for some modding, but most importantly some knowledge. I've been reading the tutorials/forums on XS and other sites for a long time now, but i still don't feel too competent on doing all this work by myself, even though i consider myself somewhat computer savy.

Anyways, i bought a WesternDigital 120 GB HD for 50bux (Yay Rebates!!) and ordeded a Team Xecutor X3 modchip for my v1.6 xbox (i'm pretty sure it's 1.6 lthe only time i checked, not 1.6b). So, obviously, i want to be able to use these items i purchased and to get EvoX running or some other dashboard so i can copy games and movies on the HD, and hopefully learn about how to add some lcd's on my xbox, if they also happen to know.

I'll certainly pay someone their fees/costs if they can help me with this stuff, but one thing that i really stress is that i can be there while they mod my xbox - not that i'm skeptical that they'll try to change parts or scheme or anything, but just so I can learn and pass on that knowledge to someone else like me, because, hey, that's why this site is up.

So yea, if anyone in Orange County (don't call it the OC damn it, it's freakin' annoying) can help me out, please speak up!
