Who In Michigan Can Help?

Sounds like maybe something wasnt partitioned correctly?

I believe that would be quite a simple thing to fix.

I am in Ann Arbor, send me an email at [email protected]

What kind of chip and bios do you have? If its an xecuter 3, you probably have the bios setup wrong. Just like Infirno112 said, it is a very easy fix.

Thanks folks,
I was hoping that a reformat would not have to be in my future, however...
Here is a question to the pro modders, wouldn't you know to use the right set up so a 200 gig HD could see more than 131, or is using the older method (that is clearly wrong for a HD bigger than 160) just a way to cut corners and time? I can't
understand why this problem happened twice as this modder is out of town this week and can't be asked directly.
Infirno112, just emailed you...

Well, what it looks like is that he is using an older bios......

If you wanted to you can do this.....

if you are using Evo-x as ur dashboard....you can see what bios has been used in the system settings.....but since its a 1.6 I can almost say for certain that he was the M8_16 bios which does not have 137+ gig HD support.....

On the matter if he was cutting corners......there's no reason not to use the other bios....by doing this, he did not save any time....would took the same amount.....but dunno for sure....I heard and read his thread and he seems like a credible person.....maybe just a mishap and he didnt notice the size difference?...did u ask where ur space was while you was gettin it modded?...

Anyway just my thoughts....

i'm a bit south, in toledo...

but anywys, its either...
1. the bios i misconfigured
or
2. the HD was just cloned, and all that needs done is formatting it.

or both, lol

Yes indeed, this machine is a matrix chipped 1.6 machine using the X2 M8 1.6 bios.
But here is a question that I never thought of, can this 1.6 box see 200 gig? Can all modded 1.6 boxes see HD larger than 160 and this is just a bios oops? I reformating in the cards?

Hay buddy........

ANY xbox can read upto 2 TB's of HD space....Its the bios that is having the issue.....

And I dont know if anyone else would LOL! at using a matrix chip in ANY xbox....It will work....but  dam thats an old chip....and since you do have a matrix, it is easy to reflash with an LBA48 bios to read more than 137gigs......
