No. He last sent us an email July 21, saying he'll start getting boxes out to us in the next 2-3 weeks. Of course, he's said the same thing the last 2 times. Like I said, every 2-3 weeks he'll email or post, saying he'll get boxes out in the next couple weeks.  Then no response, no updates, no boxes, no nothing.

Apparently he's got some family crisis going on, and he's out of town for weeks at a time and he doesn't have internet access when he's out of town.

I'd like to know exactly what his family crisis is. Maybe it's none of my business, but the fact that this crisis means that I've seen nothing of the $600 worth of consoles and $240 I sent buzzjockey is making me think it's now my business...

Its not my intention to start a mob against him, I just hope he pulls through.

It's how he takes care of this at the end that matters and not due to why this happened.

Yeah, ex-con, it's pretty bad. And I don't mean to pile on the dude, it certainly seems like he's got enough on his plate at the moment. But speaking from a purely selfish point of view, if I would have known that this would happen, I would never have sent him my consoles in the first place. Buzzjockey is losing a lot of goodwill with this crisis, and I'm sure he's not happy about it either, but in business, the customer is always right.  And no customer should expect to wait 3 months for his boxes to be returned...

Zeosstud, contacting him sounds like a great idea, only he only responds by email whenever he's back in town. I live in IL, so driving to his place isn't possible, besides according to him he's mostly out of town. I don't know what's going on with the dude, maybe he's scamming, maybe he's not, but his actions really make me feel like he's taken my money and my consoles to pay his rent/gambling debts/drug debts.

I know that's a crappy thing to say, but this whole thing has gotten so shady that if you told me Buzzjockey went on a 2 week crack binge with my money I wouldn't be surprised. Disappointed, but not surprised...

Im just wondering if anyone has heard from Buzz? People from Houston said that they were gonna get ahold of him and i was just wondering if they had any luck? I wonder if something bad happened to his family or something. He really seemed like a nice guy

No, no one's heard from him. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. No emails, no followups, no posts, no calls.
I'm going to be filing a police report with the Houston PD soon.

While I do think your a pile of crap for no longer talking to the dozen or so people who you have fucked hard, people who simply trusted you based on 17 pages of good reviews and numerous other positive things, including emails and phone calls.  I do hope you and your family are okay after Ike, having had discussions with you about them, specifically your son and some questionable advice from a dentist and other things.  Be safe.  Frankly you can have the $440 worth of shit you screwed me out of.  To do this to yourself you must need it more than me.

pffft not really. houston only suffered 5 days without power and blown down fences.

I went to his appartment to have my wii modded back in march. I didnt want to mail it to him. I wouldnt want to go back, it was in a bad part of town.
