I have been putting off posting this hoping that Karl would come through, but after multiple attempts at contacting him with nothing being resolved, here we go.

I bought a brand new wii at the store and brought it to Karl to mod. I had not even opened the box which I handed over to him, along with 100 dollars for a chip and install. When I went back to his house to pick it up, he told me that he dropped my wii and it was broken. He promised that he would fix everything, and I would get a wii back. I made several attempts at contacting him over the phone, which eventually was shut off. I also tried contacting him via email a few times, and he only responded once saying he would fix it. It has been a month and a half since he broke it, and I am still out a wii, which puts me out $350 dollars.

DO NOT send your system to Karl for modding. I have used him in the past and have been happy, but with this whole fiasco recently he just can not be trusted. I have email / text proof if anyone wants it, just find someone else to do the work for you.

A spoke with Karl recently; he is visiting relatives in Poland and will be back in (I think) 1 and a half months or so.

He will be back eventually though and the person with the Wii problem, rest assured that he will fix it as soon as he gets back.

he may eventually check his messages or emails in poland, but if he doesn't respond you'll know why.

i'm sure he will post that he is back as soon as he gets back, until then just know that he is out of service at the moment, try again in a month or two.

On another note, i had my system flashed and hitachi laser POT increased to fix the unreadable disc error. both times he was greatly helpful and charged a very reasonable price.

@the person with the Wii situation, i'm sure he will help you out as soon as he gets back, don't worry.

It’s been a month now and you haven’t responded to my messages. Please reply and tell me the status on my wii, this is getting ridiculous. I know you have seen my last message because you have posted on your thread since I sent it. Please stop ignoring me and respond.

Guys, I already told said that he's in Poland visiting relatives for a few months.

Not so sure if I approve of the possible thread hijacking that's going on by the chitownmodz guy, but I guess its ok as Karl is out of service at the moment

No disrespect to you but I think that these people would like to here that from Karl rather than someone that just joined this forum a month ago. If he was going to visit relatives then he should've posted something.
I support Karl just as much as you do & I know that he'll take care of this when he gets back, but I'll be the first (and not the last) to say that he should've handled it a bit different.
ALSO - You said he went to visit family for a couple of months, right? When did he leave? These people are wondering if they'll have their systems back before Christmas.
Again, no disrespect to you Flandersman but if you step back and look at this, you have to admit it could've been handled better.
And to everyone else.......Karl is a good guy. He'll take care of our issues.

Im not hijacking Karl thread. I respect Karl. As one of our Competitors. Chitownmodz is not one guy. We consist of 3 professional Modders. Same day service.

What are you trying to imply? I knew where Karl went because he mentioned it while he was flashing my system, so I decided to let these people who were wondering where he was know where he was. I don't see how that is knowing too much.
