Starting in late August Dave's Basement will have Reps at the Purdue University Campus, Ball State University and Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW for those around Fort Wayne). I know that Universities are HUGE and we will be suppying Contact information for the Dave's Basement Reps for Each Campus when it is Avaible.
Cost:
As we all know this can be expensive and a major deterent for most people who dont know if they realy want one or not. Here is an Example of our pricing scheme so you can look it over. THIS IS NOT OUR ONLY PRICING SCHEME AS WE ARE FLEXABLE, but this is the most general.
IF YOU HAVE A FULLY WORKING XBOX:
Dave's Basement Recomends that you go out and buy your own harddrive. Best Buy has great deals weekly on large 120gig or 160gig hdd's with rebates. This is cheeper then having us buy you a HDD because you can turn around and get some money back (almost the cost of the mod chip install) from the rebates.
For mod chip/install/and HDD setup it is $80. (Xecuter 2.3b light ($40) + Install ($30) + software setup/HDD setup data transfer ($10)) Dave's Basement will move your old saved Data from your old HDD to your new one. A great service so you dont have to loose your old saved data and all that work.
If you have a chip prefrence we can look into that for you and get you the chip you want. But we have found Xecuter's to be the best overall.
IF YOU NEED AN XBOX:
Again, Dave's Basement can supply an Xbox (depending on what kind you want) or you can just go get one at your local Video Game store. It doent matter to us. IT IS JUST CHEAPER FOR YOU!!
Dave's Basement Mods can make Appointments for drop offs, Campus Visits for mod jobs or shipping arrangments. Just let us know when and where. If you need to ship your xbox to us, all we need for shipping is the EXACT AMOUNT you paid to ship it to us. That lets you know we will ship it back to you the same way, and that we arnt charging you a shipping "fee".
