PSTWO - Experimental modding

As you may or may not know, the slim ps2's have what is called v12 syndrome.  Matrix infinity released a diode fix for this, but it does not really solve the problem. There are two issues that occur, and the MI fix only deals with one.  The one it doesnt deal with is voltage spikes, which could end up making your coils on the laser burn out.  
Yesterday MI released a new solution to use in conjunction with the Diode Fix.  This will use a PIC, and basically shut down the system should it hang.  What happens when the pstwo hangs it keeps sending voltage to the track and focus mechanism of the laser.  This is what can cause the laser to blow out.  Their new fix proposes to shut down the system should it need to.
There are many people working hard to find a proper fix, myself included.

I got about 3 - 4 PS2's done by him. He did them about 1 and a half ago and they still running good. Everything i throw at the PS2s boot everything. Not One Problem. This guy is the most reliable person i know.  I even got a modded system from SOMEONE else who ripped me off and it fully got messed and he told me he would check it out. This man is really reliable. I know he wont disappoint you.

Had a PS2 done by him a year ago, everything still works great and haven't had a backup disk give me a problem yet.

Background:  had a chip installed at first markham, thought it was a good price until i opened up the box and found it was a fake chip.  Spyman uninstalled the old chip and installed a legit chip.  So he had to work with someone elses mess and still did a good job.  Took the fake chip back and gave them a piece of my mind.

Moral of the story, if you don't wanna get ripped off, go to the right place first.

Um are you anywhere near a TTC station. And can you flash to a cromwell (cough) that is compatible with a reflash on a 1.6 XBOX. If you can do 1.6's I got one of them and a 120 GB hd Ill give ya 25 bux to do.
