Evox Boot Disc
« on: October 15, 2004, 07:40:00 PM »

I just burned an EvoX V1.8.458 boot disc and slapped it in my xbox.  My goal is to simply FTP into my HDD to chAnge a misnAmed .xbe file ... and not install anything new (in-turn, keeping everything I have on it).  I chAnged the IP on the disc in it's network config after launching and when I attempted to FTP to it, I was presented with a note by my FTP client:  "Your login to 192.168.0.3 has succeeded, but no folder list dAta has been returned."

Does this mean that ALL of the content on my HDD is gone?!  I haven't installed any new dashboards, so I don't see how it is.  On this disc, I haven't gone any further into it due to my fear of erAsing all of the dAta I had (have). Also, I believe the EvoX version on the boot disc is older than the EvoX dash I had installed before all of this crap started.  Could that be why it's not returning the HDD file list?  If you know anything about what's going on with this, please lemme know, thAnks.
