XBox Info:
Modchip: Xecuter 2.2 Lite
BIOS: X2 4978.03
HDD: 40Gb
Dash: EvoX v+3935 (Installed using Slayer 2.6 Auto Installer, did full rebuild using installer)

Question:
Can i flash my modchip BIOS using the "Flash Mod Chip" option from within EvoX? Im thinking of flashing upto 4983.06, which I already have downloaded.

If i can flash the modchip this way, i believe i just need to copy the .bin file into the BIOS folder on the C:\ on the Xbox. The question regarding this though is do i need to keep the bios .bin at 256kb or do i need to change the size of it to 512mb?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It all depends on the chip. I don't remember what the 2.2 was... Check out xecutors website

Just to let everyone know that I have successfully updated my modchip BIOS via Evox without any problems what so ever.

Just use Flash-X as it was specifically made for xecuter chips. Works very well, i prolly changed my bios in excess of 20 times trying to make a cool bootup animation. Worked flawlessly for my every time. Just throw your BIOS into C:\Bios or F:\Bios or any Bios folder thats in the root directory. Just make sure you opened it with xbtool and made sure that your settings are correct and where you want them to be.

I just booted my Xbox with the Slayer 2.6 installer and used the modchip flashing util from the menus and it worked without any probs!
