HOW do u use the dongle and official remote

I have evoX on my box but i can't get the remote to work when watching movies ?


Yeah i know i can use the joypad ( brilliant idea) but seeing as i already have the remote i wanna use it.

So how do i do

This is why I don't like the pre-fabricated homebrew packages.  Learn to do some things yourself.

In this case, change the evox.ini file to reflect the MS Dash as the DVD player.

But it's not that im trying to be lazy and take the easy road, it's just that i really didn't know how to do it and haven't really got loads of time to search for the right tuturial for what i need and some of them i just dont understand.

In the past few weeks i have learned a lot by reading the tuts. like getting evoX on my machine in the 1st place and riping, patching and burning iso's an all that, downsizing bik files and sound files and more,

If i had some-1 to physicaly show me all about the box i would love that, and learn all there is to know about the xbox, as i am a quick learner, but learning from reading on a screen is very different for me.

So all i do is cahange the ini file?

Like change this line     Item "DVD MOVIE Player - Region Free","e:AppsDVDXdefault.xbe"

to                                      Item "DVD MOVIE Player - Region Free","c:msxboxdash.xbe

or do i need to add more to it,

Anyway i will have a mess with it and look for the right tut to help me.
