If anyone is interested, I did a modchip install for infamous8906 and he can verify me as being legit.
He came right to my house and it was done for him in a couple hours.

Come to your house?????

What a retrospective and contributive post.....
On to the thread, tho.... wish you were around when I wanted my PC-BIOXX chip installed.... ended up having to do it the old fashioned way... you know, where I learned how to solder and all that. =-)
We need more Detroit modders, damn it!

We've been in contact with Alpine455 for a week now, he has impressed us with his educated answers about modding our XBOX. As soon as we can get our Seagate or WD 120in the next to days, we're taking our box to him. Can't wait to see what he has planned when it comes to LEDs.

Yes, to my house. If someone felt more conforatable you could meet me at work and drop it off there.
I dont understand what the big deal about it being my house is supposed to be.
It gets done and I stand behind what I do. Im going to make a website soon with info and pics so people can see my work before they have me do work on their stuff if they choose to. Also am probably going to start selling pre-modded boxes and offering repair service....havent decided yet, but if an xbox wont turn on, it shouldnt be hard to fix, just fixed one about 2 hours ago actually.
Maybe this thread will turn into a place for people to tell their experience with my work and people will feel comfortable with me working on their boxes.

argh, well, looks like i had the wrong modchip. but alpine kept to his word and worked his ass off to try to get my ps2 to work. when it didnt go as planned he refunded my money and drove it back out to me as planned.

very professional and would definitely do business with him again

thanks for trying. i appreciate what you did.
