Hi there guys,

just wondering if its just me are is any else having the same problem as me. When i go to Launch menu > Games I cant start the game in the DVD-ROM. the older versions all allowed me to selected the auto-items. but that was a bug that has been fixed in this version according to the bug fix list. I have tried allsorts.

Item "DVD-ROM Game","d:\default.xbe"
AutoAddItem "d:\"

these are the most obvious i have tried.

Its a pain to start the xbox insert a dvd then switch off and switch back on

any ideas guys

AutoLaunchGames   = Yes
AutoLaunchDVD   = yes
change from no to yes in the evox ini

OOPs sorry i 4got to mention i dont want it to autoload the game as soon as I insert the disc. I want to b able to insert the disc, then go to Launch Menu > Games and run the game from there.

can't you do this by using boXplorer? browse the DVD and
open "default.xbe". then again, it's easier to just reset evox
and let the xbox load up the game

didnt know i could launch from boxplorer. u learn something new everyday.

May go back to version Evolution Beta 1.8.2594 cos it lets me launch games.

To be honest I cant wait for the nexgen dash to arrive

I guess u cant fix this little problem, well i guess i'll have to wait for the next version to come out. hopefully it will fix this problem.

Till then i will have to keep reseting the xbox to when i insert a game

If you do a Reboot and a DVD is in the drive it will load the DVD, even if the AutoStartGame is set to NO.
