I have noticed that recently the forums are going down frequently.  Will this be fixed?  I am getting tired of not being able to view the forums.

You have an issue with a free forum?  And are tired of sporadic problem?  rolleyes.gif

If we had a magic wand to fix it I'm sure we would. Until then... COPE.

This is a frequent problem.  What does "IPS Driver Error" mean anyway?

I can't even access my PM's when the forum goes down.

You average around a 100 posts a year over the time you have been here and you also mention no PM access when the forum has a problem.
Perhaps you are relying on this as you FREE sales forum which is why you are concerened.
Stuff goes wrong and reading the forums is not some sort of right.
If small amounts of down time affect you that much you are spending too much time online and need to do other stuff.
If this is all because it affects your sales thread then hard luck, you get that as a freebie anyway.
Complain about something you pay for.

I look to this forum for information as well as helping other people.  I like to respond to a question or call of help asap.  It is just frustrating when the forum goes down for several hours.  If I am addicted to anything it's helping people.

I understand that stuff goes wrong on occasion but not this frequently.  It seems lately the forums goes down more than once a week for hours.

I have been here for several years and I have never seen this many problems with this forum until now.

I hope the problem is figured out.

Just look at it as a small cost of using this site. Now my question is how come it started happening around the same time I became a Mod. Am I the cause or am I being setup. All I am saying is it was the one armed man.

X-S Admin do a fantastic job of maintaining this site. Unforeseen problems arise and they are fixed as quickly as possible. End of story.

OP has been responded to. I am closing this thread.
