That depends on why the "dead" consoles don't start up. If the problem is with, say, the PSU, then you'd probably find it easier to fix/replace that.

i have 3 xbox one is working but the hard drive got fried and the other two don't start so i don't know if there is more wrong with it than just the power supply i was wondering if there is any way to lock a hard drive i formatted with the xbox i have working but its not locking but i don't think i have the eeprom but i do think i have them on the hard drive because i back them up before i formatted the other drive with the old xbox or is there a way for me to lock the hard drive in the xbox like chimps or some other program like that??? any help with be greatly appreciated...

You don't need multiple threads for the same issue.

You will need the EEPROMs (or at least the HDD keys ) for the consoles you wish to lock drives for. You'll need to build an EEPROM reading, as per the link in my signature, to get a copy.

An alternative solution is to install a modchip in the console, hence removing the need to lock the new drive.
