As a courtesy rule (if not a defacto rule), you should not really ask "Which X", as that questino has been asked often, or the answer can be found in an stickthread/FAQ somewhere, or even and ongoing thread.

I think what you were thinking about was much less of a rule.. and more of a suggestion we used to hammer home alot. Asking about media reliability as it pertains to XBOX or Xbox360 readability and reliability was.. and still is pretty hit and miss.

Back in the day when I used to write backup guides for the Xbox and other scenes.. I spent alot of time refuting popular myths about "best media".

For every post where someone would state their fav mdeia was best on Xbox.. someone elsel with the same media.. same burners.. and same readers in the consoles would get different results.

Far too often.. the readers themselves were the big X-Factor in whther or not a particular burn would work reliably. We learned early on that the same make of reader.. could have a wide range of results. (pot levels.. laser assemblies.. etc) all contributed to the variables.

In the end.. I always recommended people spend a little time and (sic) money and try out difference brands etc. In the end.. the blanks that work best for you and your needs.. is the best. It's pretty useless to you if my fav media doesn't work reliably for you under your particular circumstances.
