Topic: How Long Does It Take For Mods To Approve Posts In The Faq Forum? (Read 25 times)

This forum seems highly active, whcih is why I'm surprised my post in the "how do I network my PC and xbox" in the FAQ forums is still not activated. It's a tut for conencting your xbox to your PC wirelessly for about $20(no previous network equipment required). I created this because people keep reccomending these ridiculously priced ethernet bridges. If any of you care, I posted this post as its own topic in the general xbox hardware forum (I hope that was the most relevant forum). If the mods felt my topic was not suited to appear in the FAQ topic, then that's okay, but I jsut hope it wasn't overlooked ebcause many people could use this info. If some mod does approve the post, then please replace the post in that topic with this(link) slightly revised post(with a config downlaod link).

Did you make a topic in one of the actual FAQ forums?

The Xbox 360 FAQ Forum is empty of unapproved topics (with the exception of a few outdates ones circa June 05).

The Xbox FAQ Forum is also empty of unapproved posts by member afruff23.

The topic you link from today's post in General Hardware is the only one started by you in that forum (as well as the 360 General Hardware forum), period.

I also cannot find it in the pinned "General Hardware FAQ" pinned topic.

Can you help us clarify?

Note: I've searched the garbage forums, and it hasn't been removed there either.

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure what's being asked here either. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Your post in the General Hardware section, it's visible to everyone. (If it wasn't you wouldn't be able to see it either).

-If you feel it should be added to the FAQ you should PM a mod from that forum about it.

-If you want it added to the Tutorials section on the main page you need to send an email here: [email protected]

-If you wanted it in the FAQ forum you should have posted it there. If you'd like it moved there PM a mod and request that it be moved.

I realize that due to hidden posts, the post you linked to (#106) is different from what I see, but I checked the whole thread. I'm rather confused.

I don't understand what you are trying to achieve. If you made a tutorial that you require adding to the list of pinned topics then all you do is make the thread and PM a mod to look at it to see if its worth a pin.

I made a post in the previously mentioned topic. I just want it to be merged into the first post, since it ties into the topic and I don't want to make a new topic. I guess I'll just do what you said and make a tutorial thread.
