hey, on my other forum i am a part of we have it setup so when you post on a thread, your sig only shows up once per page. this is to help out those 56k'ers, and to cut down on size. i know i get annoyed when i bump my thread and forget to click the "do not show sig" button.

this might also allow us to use larger sigs? i am by far no expert, but i have gotten used to this option and i really like it compared to xboxscene's setup

oh yeah, we also have a feature where you can read the first few lines of a thread when you hover over the link, that's nice too

How would it help those on 56k? What browser actually downloads the same image 3, 4 times when loading 1 page?
