That's ominous - it suggests the HDD is physically toast. However, in that case, the console should be able to boot Slayers at all. Are you sure you got that code right?

Hmmm, now it's back to error message 13 when I try to load my evo dash without the slayer disk. When I have the slayer disk in at the top on the right side it has the letters C: D: E: F:. etc... Under the cpu temp and MB Temp. Before there was numbers like 3423985 something, now there all 0.

The exact thing I did was went to the option new install/ full rebuild on retail HD and I didn't have a backup like I thought I did. I'm sorry I wasn't more clear before. Thanks again for any help you can offer.
