Erm... it's a tracking cookie.  Every site in the world uses them.  Calm down, this has been answered before.

Just make sure you empty your IE cache files regularly and that you also run Adaware and Spy Bot search & destroy about every 3 weeks. Then you can be rest assured that your system will not be filled with spyware. Not saying X-S is filled with it, it's just something you should do regularly.

like mentioned above it's no 'spyware' like in the crap you get with all those free apps and so. Nothing gets 'installed' on your PC or so.
It's just a simple cookie used by advertising companies ... many if not all big sites use these kinda cookies ... so they can serve appropriated ads for you on the advertising emplacements on this and other sites.
You can easily block these cookies in your webbrowser (IE, mozilla, ...) if you don't like the idea.
