Xbox Eeprom Reader Help On 1.6

The LPC on the v1.6 xbox is iffy for eeprom access. You'll have better luck (but more difficulty) soldering your reader wires directly to the eeprom chip, and remember, disconnect your eeprom reader from the PC until ready to flash as the v 1.6 xbox will likely not boot with the eeprom wires soldered to the board and the reader plugged in to the PC.

solder directly on the eeprom chip
some of the connections on the LPC are not connected on the 1.6
