another option to extending all the controller ports and buttons would be to get wireless controllers and do the doorbell mod for power, could result in a cleaner install since you wouldnt have to mount the ports or power button anywhere

Never heard about this mod. Can you explain what you mean with this?

I am not sure if this is what he meant but.... In my truck (semi) I had to install a NON-Lighted (do not use a lighted doorbell) button purchased at Canadian Tire. It is a great "Normaly Open Momentarily connected switch" that has a nice chrome bezel and easy to install. Just connect two (long as you need them) wires to the back of the switch drill a hole and shove it through. Connect the other ends of the wires to the Xbox contact points.

Cost was about $7.00 CND
