No because he is just standing his opinion. He feels that it is wrong to mod consoles, because if you mess up, you lose $200-$300 on it. He isn't being rude, he isn't swearing, as he is just standing his opinion.

So, even though I believe that the Matrix is the best and easiest to use modchip out there, but if somebody else says the X2 Pro is better, should they be banned?

I agree he only states his (admittedly uninformed) opinion, but come on, what does he expect when he spouts said opinion in a forum that is built, primarily, on modding the XBox? For people to chime in and say, "You know, you're right! I am a dumbass for modding my console!"?

in general people on this forum need to stop jumping on peopls case and spend that energy helping others if some one screws up and violates the rules then on person in the position to adress that violater should talk to them and let them know are they went wrong then if it happens 3 times there is  probatin piriod then if they do it again they get put in the reader forum which exsplains the rules of this board and they cant read anything except that forum i know this can work because it works on other forums

read the fuckin' manual that came with the xbox it shows you the colour code system so you can tell you whats wrong with your console although maybe its your xbox rejecting the mod chip and refusing to work because of it. i read that m$ were going to release an xbox that if mod chipped would not work fullstop

what i am trying to say is why spend $200 on an xbox just to break it and when it does break no-one can fix it and no-one will fix it so all you can do is throw it in the bin and say to yourself thats $200 down the drain. Are all you mod chippers rich or something? people who can afford to buy a new xbox every other week its nice to own genuine copies of games like spliter cell because you get all the manuals and things and about the emulators big wow they are running on an xbox well if you go to www.edgeemu.com you can get all these games you mentioned for your PC for free and you don't have to ruin your xbox to play them.

Yes, I agree that Feck should be banned or at least asked to leave by the moderators if he keeps complaining. True people should be allowed to voice their own opinion but honestly if Feck has such an issue with it why doesn't he simply go to another XBOX forum that doesn't discuss modding. There are plenty of other forums for him to use so it is rediculous for him to come here and complain about it. That's like me going over to a PS2 forum and posting a thread saying "PS2 SUCKS", sure it might be an opinion but the fact of the matter is that it simply lashes out against everything the site is designed for (which is exactly what Feck has done in his post). Unless this is another user/moderator who is just playing around then I suggest either of the two listed above. I agree that we should PM a mod about it though.

feck sounds annoying, but as long as he doesn't spam we can live with one misinformed opinion.

In fact I have several xbox friends, none of whom condone modding. Or at least they don't want to try it on their boxes. Hasn't stopped me yet.
