I was wondering if anybody that has past experience with the XIR remote mod... ( http://xir.us/xireasy.aspx )

I've recieved it just a few days ago as a christmas present. I have plenty of experience with the original xbox and was hoping somebody else could give insight to this problem I have.

I installed it perfectly without a problem. What I need help with, is the fact that the remote's "select" button turns the xbox on. Now...I have xbmc has a default dashboard and the select button actually selects things with that physical button. But it also, as stated, earlier turns my xbox on and off. So there's the dilemma.

For the time being, i've remapped my button 5 key to be the select key. What I want to know is if there is anyway for me to change which button the XIR kit uses as the power on button. It uses the "display" button as well but both do the same exact thing...so i'm not sure what to do. Can I switch the wire that's connected to the 3.3v to the other 3.3v wire in the molex connector? I'm so stumped as to how to fix this...the way I want it...atleast.

Turns out the wires were not snuggly fit into the molex connector so it wasn't responding appropriately. A mod can lock this topic. Thanks.
