So I've just finished all of my soldering and dremeling and have the drive installed.
However it has been incredibly difficult to figure out if my Tray In, Tray Out, Eject and M1/Ready wires are correct (or if i have dodgy soldering, which is most likely).
When i eject the drive XBMC reports EMPTY (sometimes briefly BUSY) until the tray is fully out and then reports OPEN.
When closing the drive there is no BUSY status and it will report EMPTY until it reads the media and then displays the title.
Occasionally you can eject the drive and it will still be reporting "RemoteX" or any other disc tile.
I assume that my EJECT is correct as the drive opens and closes.
I assume that Tray In/Tray Out are correct as turning the box off with the tray open will cause it to close.
Unsure about M1
The drive is functional and i can boot from it etc. its just not 100% correct
