Shoot I agree totally.....I also think it is very funny how much people worry about their post count, and worry about others...lol like cheerio counting how many post I did in one day...lol oh well

I think each person should be ranked according to theirs posts..... I have sugested this before and seen it done before.

each post has an option to rank it if you want to and then you rank from stupid...to very helpful or what not...and then that compiles into your total and then your average is what you end being ranked.

and what the heck is wrong with my freakin sig......I think some people want me to go back to the penis sig....but that embarrases some people so....hmm. maybe Ill go back to the orig.....

well the ideas just get better and better, im pretty sure the admins can do it, change peoples level by the B$ they posted!! but how would this be done kinda pointless to do a poll on like 1000 members!!  the idea is great but can't be done, now if a person has been voted because everyone figured a person has been spamming with comments like - hi, bye, cya, kool, thats bad.... and shit like that should be down leveled!! i personally think that everyone knows who they are and can do it himself if he\she is curious about what people think!! if your level is xbox genius and u haven't modded your system yet and post in comedy all the time then he must be down leveled!! but as a normal member i have no say so and the mods\admins pretty much like the script that's written like i do, then fuck it the people who spam and post about nothing helpful or even asking questions then let them do there thing and try to be popular by post and a level name, we all know who u are!!

I'll think about writing a rating script.
First look seem pretty easy , just a add a column in the user table and some php scripts to rate people.

Problem will ofcourse be the abuse ... so I'll need some kind of checking so a person can't vote for the same person several time , or like 1x day , or maybe rating based on post. But this take a bunch of extra mysql queries , which isn't really good if we want to keep the forums fast.

The forum will move to a faster server in about 1 , max 2 weeks ... anyway I'll see what I can do about this.

Hey man don't lose hair over trying to make it work.....I mean it is just a sug.....I just have seen it work before....but non-the less.....don't lose sleep over it...personally the only real reason for it is to inform newbs of who is really helpful....As any normal user shouldn't/won't care about their rating

the one problem with that is if someoen has a grudge against someone they could rate them low repeadetly (cant spell)

if you read xants he could work it out so you could only rank someone once a day...everything would average out to be fairly acurate....
