It is not possible with the hardware available today. The 360 controller speaks to it's console in a different "langauge", so to speak: Even if you managed to hook one up to the original system, it wouldn't know what it was "saying".

if u want to write a driver for the m$ xbox 360 pc reciver then it would work (there may be one out now)

You're not the first one to think of this. If you browse back through the forums, you'll find dozens of threads asking the same thing over the years.  wink.gif

It's not easy coding a driver. Making one in machine code and embedding it directly into an X-Box BIOS? Uh, not terribly likely to happen. Especially in this day and age.

That said, I reckon Team Xecutor could pull it off. But you'd probably need to offer them a fat check if you wanted their attention. A lot more then, say, the price of a full set of original X-Box controllers (making the whole thing an exercise in redundancy).

A hardware adapter is more likely to appear (easier to design, easier to profit from), but I wouldn't hold your breath.

you could mod a xbox1 controller in to a 360 shell

would be easiest cheapest and most fun option imo

This would be the perfect start to a kickass DIY project. The 360 controller is more comfortable i think.

if i get some time i will make one but i would say it will be a wile as i have 3 projects on the go atm and college is taking up most my time
