I have a ps3 "cechk01" that will not read discs of any kind. It has a 410aaa laser.
I have tried 2 new lasers and decks.

Searching online I have found a chart that shows all the ps3 model#'s
And the corresponding drive board #'s.
According to that chart my console should have board #: BMD-006 but right now it has #: BMD-003 in it. I bought it broken, so I think whoever had it first replaced the entire drive "with the wrong one"
I can only find replacement drive boards that say they are for a 400aaa or a 410aaa.

So.... Question is, if my drive has a 410aaa,does it have to be the exact board for the console, or can it be any board as long as it is from 410aaa console?
