Well to start off both of my controllers have no functioning buttons, Only the analog sticks register. It only sometimes recognizes a usb keyboard. And everytime I turn it on it asks me do I want to connect to HDMI which it always has been and makes me key in my settings all over again, which I can't do because the buttons don't work. What the hell is going on?

It's never been opened before. It worked fine for a while now all of a sudden it's useless.

for the HDMI bit I'd say the little CMOS battery is dead. the controller bit I've never heard of before.
