hey just wondering if anyone has taken out the BR Drive and used it on pc i would assume it would be fine for it and sorry if this is just a silly question but i am curious.

I don't think you can, it has a property connection, the metal casing wouldn't even fit in a DVD Bay anyway, it's all weird shaped. Google PS3 opening you get a pretty good look at the drive.
