Help Me Modding A Ps3 Controller (southpaw)
« on: April 02, 2011, 07:31:00 PM »

First, sorry about the new topic. This is the last one, I swear

Since Im a noob at modding hardware, I want some help

What I need to do is changing the analog sticks, as long as clickers  (L3, R3)

I saw some mods on the internet, but the boards were differents. I took 2 pics of my controller board. Sorry about the quality, it was from a cel phone

if i could take a guess it looks like a Dualshock 3 MSU_V 3.5X. Check the front of your board and check RDC ps3 board thread. all ps3 board versions are on there. good luck. also let me know how you removed the analog sticks. they are a bitch to remove without the proper equipment.

You have 3 options to do this. You can pull the Sticks and swap the Pole connections around, which is an 8 wire job but easier than the second method, which is to trace it all out and swap the lines after the Op-Amps which is only 4 wires but requires trace cutting and soldering to smaller places, and lastly you can have someone else to do it that already knows how.
