Im reviving this project. I FINALLY GOT A HEAT GUN!!!! List some materials i need so i know i got all of them. Last time we spoke i almost got the ben heck one working good connection in buttons, screwed up on analogs. Which controller should i get?? A DS3?? and i think i got everything cept a solder sucker!!

So has anyone had any further progress.. I plan to soon work on one myself. Any info or guidance would be appreciated, or i will post any if i make any. And for those pics above, do they just convert like that, ps3 components on a 360 board...im a noob but that doesnt make sense.

As of right now, i progressed a lot, Im on Part III of the controller as i call it the tracing and wiring portion of the project. I jus wired one of the COM setups the R2 R1 and Y, A B X buttons. They all share a common line and you uave to isolate it from the rest of the board. Im working on the other 4 com lines right now. You have any questions please post them and this is extremely hard mod so if youre a noob, u need a lot of practice boards and lots of research.
