I don't really like these multi unit style cables, the extra spaghetti turns me off. I am a neat freak though, I also wish someone would come out with a short high quality cable. There is only like three feet from my xbox to my amp and i hate the extra six feet or whatever of wire.

But thats just me

hell yea i need one of those bad...wii component cables aren't easy to come by anyways. i just hope it doesnt cost $100

I might need one of these when I get a Wii. My Samsung HDTV randomly only has one component input (but two HDMI, so I'm okay).
And by the way, I heard on Gizmodo I believe that it will retail for $29.99, not bad at all!

I see the Xbox 360's optical interconnect but is that same output used by the other console's as well?

how do I get PS2/3 digital audio out?

There is an optical out on the back of the console on both the PS2 and PS3.
