Is the EvoX dash named xboxdash.xbe?

It sounds like you don't know what's what.  Are you even positive that of msxboxdash.xbe and xboxdash.xbe, one of them is the MS Dash?  I would run them from EvoX to determine which one is the MS Dash.  Name that xboxdash.xbe and reboot the Xbox with the mod off.
