hacked my slim a week ago on 3.55 running gia , tryed copying portal and crysis which it did but when i went to pay the games it said i needed to updat to 3.60 in order to play them , even when i tryed the use the origianl disc it said the same , is this how sony have tryed to combat the hackers once again?
is there anyway around it or will i have to wait untill 3.60 is jailbroken?

There's no publicly available J/b for OFW 3.60 and yes, this is an effort  the perpetual game of cat and mouse to combat piracy and secure aftermarket control of the system. If you want to play OFW 3.60 games you must update your console and sacrifice CFW in doing so. Alternatively you could wait for the release of the new keys in 3.60 which is more "when" then "if", however, as no one has announced their working on this, there's no lead in time to quote. You therefore have to decide which you value most.
