Hi, I have the PSJAILBREAK usb device on my PS3. I can boot backups off a usb hdd or the internal hdd no problem if I have a disc in the drive. I installed backup manager 2 which is supposed to be able to play backups without a disc in the drive however I've had no luck. I'll bott the backup manager 2 and select the backup I want to play. It then brings me back to the XMB and when I press "X" on / app_home/PS3_GAME it gives me an error 80028F14. Any clue what I might be doing wrong?

You have to also update your USB jailbreak device with the new Psgroove-hermess version hex file.

I've been searching on google but haven't been able to find any update for the psjailbreak. Any clue if this device can be updated?

Not sure about those guys. I think they are dead and gone. Most people use the clone ones since that is what everyone seems to have now.

Go tp psx-scene part of this company i think so link should be ok???

The psjailbreak is based on the atmega16 i think. Just do a search on there im sure they have what you need.

Failing that buy a pic clone for £20 or so always updatable as the free homebrew scene has done more than the official psjailbreak (all credit to them for the hack of course ) but the mini hackers if you like are moving stuff along really fast.
