Only issue i have come across.

Method 1
Boot console then press eject.
Console is in debug mode.
Shutdown console from xmb.
Boot console then press eject.
Console freezes.

Method 2
Boot console then press eject.
Console is in debug mode.
Shutdown console from xmb.
Unplug the power cord from the wall.
Boot console then press eject.
Console is in debug mode.

For some reason I need to unplug the console completely before trying to boot it into debug mode.

That's how it works.  You always have to unplug the power to the console.  Turning it off via the power button will still keep it on standby.

yes. you can use the same file.
yes that will work.
that device is to flash other ics, I don't think that will work. No nand-x support.
xbox-xperts, they might be sold out. Might be faster and cheaper to build one, like most people did. It really easy and takes about 30mins.

Thanks for the confirmation. FRIDAY CAN'T COME SOON ENOUGH  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

The way I'm gonna do it is by just flicking the eletrical plug switch on and off. But of course if you have a bunch of devices hooked up then you're out of luck  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Exactly, nand-x does not work. And nobody is working on the chipset.

found in the zip file of 1.2, i'll link it again for you. Here.
can't say for sure unless you tell me the mcu on it, but i think it is doubtful.

Just to let everyone know, the spi has to be built according to the following schematics. Most are made like this. I think nand-x and maximus are the exception. I could be wrong though, from there speed I have a hard time believing they are based on pic. Another thing to note is that those two products were commercially manufactured which means their code can not be change, unless xecuter and maximums built-in a means for the end user's to update the device, which is very unlikely.

Thanks for the infor

I updated some Chip pics here, if you could have a look that will be great
http://www.sendspace.com/file/6vik70

Also the Maximum 360 Nand Flasher chip says: LPC2146FBD64
SUO251.1

No idea what does this mean. if anybody could assist, i'd very much appreciate it. thank you

Hi,
wich are the differences between the hex of the first post (link) and the groopic hex v1.2??

Should I re-flash the pic in order to update with groopic v1.2 hex? Wich are the advantages?

I'm using 18f2455 with the first hex and it works.
Where can I insert a led?
I think that I have to put the led between pin 22 and 19(GND).

If I use groopic v1.2 hex,  should I put a led between pin 26 and GND (I found it in the groopic blog)?

Thanks

Only difference is where the led is located. If it works DONT FIX IT.
