PSGroove is a DIY PSJailbreak minus the ability of backing up games.  Which means this only allows you to run homebrew. Using these boards :

    * AT90USB162
    * AT90USB646
    * AT90USB647
    * AT90USB1286
    * AT90USB1287
    * ATMEGA32U4

This has since been patched by (many) others to include the ability to play backups. Good luck to those who are scrambling to buy teensy boards in the next week or two!

Are the backups loaded from Blueray or by transferring files between hard drives??

The games are backed up to hard drives, either internal or usb, and played from there.

 This is basically a freeware release of the psjailbreak device and it's associated backup manager.

hello i am ordering my teensy++ 2.0 board today will get it in a week i hope. what else would i need to complete these project? and be able to play my backups off a external hdd?
