Hi guys,

Just had a quetion. Is there any group seriously trying to hack the PS3 or have they given up? I haven't heard anything really lately. Accept that one of my friends who was in China had the option to buy a hacked PS3 there. Which was kind of a surprise for me since there is no info here to find on a hacked PS3.

So he buy hacked ps3, then what? The iso s are not on the trackers, tell him to sleep 2 years then come back.

The iso's for games are not on trackers because they are useless without a hacked PS3. Once it would be hacked then the iso's will be available more widely. That is why I asked f there is a group even seriously working on the PS3 hack or that it has been abandoned.

Sony sure has made this a difficult task for hackers. I'm really surprised nobody has hacked the PS3 yet. It probably will happen but it may be years down the road. Thanks!

with the ps3 slim and price cuts.. more people will buy ps3 and we SHOULD see them being hacked real soon.

Its hacked already. But people will still see a cat and mouse game as it is with all the consoles out now. Ie. xbox 360, wii, psp, wii. The 360 with bannings on xbox live. The wii with it's latest f/w updates. The psp 3000's. Stay tuned....think to see a release n the near future.

How do you mean hacked already? Where do you get your information? I've seen only reports of some way of using an HDD to run games but not anything as to do with fully hacking the PS3. If you have something to show me then I'd like to see it or are you telling me it's being kept a secret for now? Thanks!

It's really weird, some people indeed claim that the PS3 is already hacked. Some friends of mine went to china for some internship and when they came back they said you could buy hacked PS3 consoles in China. I thought it was a rip off, but they really claim that they were hacked. So still don't know if they are hacked or not. Although if you look good most games can be bought for a good price, expecially compared to the price you will pay for an empty bluray disc. So wy bother being banned just because of a couple of bucks.
